Alongdawkatapa Festival Trip

Yangon-Mandalay-Monywa- Alongtawkatapa-Yangon
(8 Days/7 Nights)
 

Day-01 Bangkok - Yangon
Upon arrival, welcomed by our tourist guide and transferred to Hotel.
After lunch, start to tour Yangon downtown and Bogyoke market. In the evening, we will enjoy the sunset view from over the western platform of the vivid Shwedagon Pagoda, which is towering almost 100meters above the city and is a conspicuous landmark visible from a few miles around.
Overnight in Yangon.

Day- 02 Yangon - Mandalay
In the morning, we are flying to Mandalay. We are checking in the Hotel and take a short break. Then, going out for sightseeing includes the gold leaf making industry, the golden palace monastery, which used to serve as a private chamber to King Mindon, the founder of Mandalay, the incomparable monastery, a brick building with the combination of Myanmar and European architectural style, the Kuthodaw Pagoda, which is also known as the world’s biggest book for its 729 stone tables bearing three baskets of Dhama. Then, we will conclude our day by enjoying the sunset view from over the Panoramic Mandalay Hill.
Overnight in Mandalay.

Day-03 Mandalay-Monywa
In the morning, drive to Monywa. It is situated on the western bank of Chindwin river about 136km to the west of Mandalay. Monywa is one of the commercial centre of the Chindwin valley and border-trade centre between India and Myanmar.
Highlight in Monywa; Thanbadhay Pagoda, adorn with 500,000 Buddha images. Ledi monastery, and Kyaukka Village. Cross the Chindwin River and visit to Shwe Ba Hill and Phowin Taung cave.
Overnight in Monywa.

Day-04 Monywa - Alongdawkatapa
In the morning drive to Yinmarbin base camp . After taking a short rest, drive to Alongdawkatapa National Park. It’s total area is 620 32 sq-miles and in wildlife with wild animals such as deer, wild pigs, monkeys, somber, tigers and wild elephants. There are many bird species and many kinds of plants and trees. In the evening, arrive at Alongdawkatapa Cave and see many bats in that cave.
Overnight at Thabake Sae base camp in the Alongdawkatapa National Park.

Day-05 Alongdawkatapa - Monywa
In the morning,drive back to Yinmarbin base camp and we will take a short rest at the camp and then continue to Monywa.
Overnight in Monywa.

Day-06 Monywa - Mandalay
In the morning, visit at the morning market and then drive back to Mandalay. Arrive at Mandalay and visit Mahamuni Pagoda the greatest sitting. Buddha’s image in Mandalay. Depend on the time situation ,in the evening, enjoy the sunset from U Pein Bridge more than two centuries old and the longest teak wood bridge in the world.
Overnight in Mandalay.

Day-07 Mandalay-Yangon
In the morning, looking around in Mandalay and then transfer to airport
for flight to Yangon in the evening.
Overnight in Yangon.
 

Day-08 Yangon-Bangkok.
A leisure morning at Yangon.
Then, will be transferred to Yangon Airport and assisted by our Tourist Guide about Airport procedures.
After all, our trip has successfully come to an end.
